COVID-19 – Corona Virus
OPEN as USUAL at Glen Waverley Foot Clinic
30 March 2020
It’s no secret that COVID-19 has changed how everyone is thinking and operating in their daily lives. At Glen Waverley Foot Clinic, we would like to think we have been at the forefront of managing this as best as possible.
Many of our patients would classify as “at risk” or vulnerable, so we are now calling people who have booked, or are planning to book and asking them questions regarding their health.
We are asking you to NOT attend at this stage if you
• are Unwell (including fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose or difficulty breathing)
• have travelled interstate or overseas in the last 2 weeks
• have been around a known COVID-19 case.
We are now also mostly closing our waiting room and kindly request that people arriving by car
• Wait in their car and call 9560 9599 to let us know they have arrived and we will wave you from our doors when ready to see you!
• We are still requiring people to use hand sanitiser within the clinic
• Wiping down all door handles hourly
We will continue to follow these actions in addition to our standard infection control procedures and will keep you updated on any further information as it arises.
Whilst our preparations, type of clinic and our room layout is a relatively safe environment, we completely understand if you don’t feel comfortable attending. We only ask that you give us to aid our staff planning.
